Acme Press publishes a story. By the time it reaches the screen a component loaded from somewhere else has rewritten it, and the page carries the masthead of a newsroom that never wrote those words. Nothing in the newsroom's own systems recorded a change, because nothing in the newsroom's own systems was touched.
